"Base Camp Alpha is a sanctuary where veterans and first responders can set down their burdens, reconnect, and find the healing so often needed after service. Nestled in the Appalachian foothills of southern Ohio, we offer a retreat that blends nature, camaraderie, and renewal.

Through Nordic-style cabins, hiking trails, and seasonal gatherings, we create space for rest, reflection, and shared experiences. Programs like annual deer hunts, unit reunions, and meditation classes bring people together to heal and rediscover a sense of purpose.

Sustained by merchandise sales and donor support, Base Camp Alpha exists to provide those who served with a place to relax, reconnect, and rebuild—one step at a time."

At Base Camp Alpha, our cabins are more than just structures—they are sanctuaries for veterans and first responders seeking rest, renewal, and community. As we work to complete the interiors of these spaces, we need your support to provide essential materials and funding.

How You Can Help

We are currently raising funds and materials to complete the interiors of three 10' x 16' cabins, ensuring they are insulated, comfortable, and built to last. Your support will help us secure:

✅ Foam Board Insulation – Rigid panels for walls and ceilings to improve energy efficiency
✅ Wood Wall Paneling – Pine tongue-and-groove or T-11 to create a warm, inviting interior
✅ Vinyl Flooring – Durable, easy-to-clean flooring for three 10’ x 16’ cabins
✅ Deck Materials – Three 10' x 16' decks to provide safe, sturdy outdoor spaces for relaxation and gatherings
✅ Future Solar & Electrical Needs – Once the interiors are finished, we will install off-grid solar power and electrical systems for sustainable, long-term energy use
